Why has my Tapworks water softener stopped working?

A common issue why a Tapworks water softener has stopped working is a failed 24V transformer (part numbers 7323679,400430 or 98124612). If the transformer is faulty, the unit may not receive the correct voltage required for normal operation. This can result in the system not powering on, intermittent performance, or the unit appearing completely unresponsive.

To troubleshoot, first ensure the power supply is connected properly and the outlet is working. If power is confirmed but the unit still does not operate, the 24V transformer may need to be inspected or replaced.
